Summary While sitting on the upper bench of the sauna, I experienced an unexpected and unsettling event. From the sauna heater stones, dark specks seemed to surge toward my eyes. The sensation was frightening, and I felt the impact within my brain.

Earlier, I had read a warning: after working at a computer screen, one should wait approximately 30 minutes before entering a sauna. Apparently, the impulses emitted by the screen do not interact well with the ions present in the stones.
